  • Cubemap CAmera cutting into walls

    Hi,

    I have two problems:
    1-When I use a regular camera with cubemap settings, I cannot see it and control it properly in 3D since I cannot see it`s location.
    2-When I use and advanced cubemap camera, it start cutting into walls that are over 3 meters away. How can I reduce this distance? See the attached image with the dark areas cutting in.

    I am looking for best practices when rendering cubemaps to be able to control the camera, get a type of visual preview of the camera and be able to see where the camera is in my scene.

    Hi,

    You could use SketchUp's Advanced Camera Tools to hide the geometry of the physical camera.

      We discovered that it was the cameras in the scene that were showing up, so hiding these cameras solved the issue.
