  • settings for highest quality

hello, just out of curiosity, I would like to know what render outpout settings apply to get an image with the highest quality possible. I rule in 3840 x 2160 very high, it's already very good but can we do even better by customizing the denoiser for example or something else ?

pegaze Best you post a screenshot of your current setting, it's also interesting to know, what engine you use - CPU or GPU. And only quality matters, not the speed?

Here a screenshot of one of my typical settings. If I need less noise than I set the noise limit at .01 or 0.005. The LC could be switched to BF too, this should allow to get perfect fine details, if needed.

There is no golden rule but for most cases the Settings quality presets should suffice. Additionally, you can always compensate for using a lower quality preset by utilizing the V-Ray Denoiser.
Keep in mind the V-Ray Denoiser may cause some loss of fine detail in your final production shot. Once the process is complete, you can try out its different presets and manually re-initiate the Denoiser using its "Update" button.

        Kind regards,
        Peter
