  • New Vray for Sketchup update is not working for me? HELP!!

    Hi gang, I just downloaded the NEW update for Sketchup and when I "click" on my Vray asset editor I get this window that says: Failed to checkout a V-ray for Sketchup license" I do have a license and it is active. did I do something wrong?
    I have alot of work to get done and need my Vray to work
    I sent a message to support as well.

    Just thought I would ask here to to hopefully get up and running sooner than later!

    Hi Jay

    I think that you restarted your pc after installing last release. Try Stop Chaos license server service and then Start this service. After that, run Manage Chaos license server (or go to localhost:30304 on your browser), then Deactivate online licensing and activate again. This should work properly.If not, try to install again V-Ray and license server (Swarm and Cloud services if you will use them)

      Hello Jay,

      We can see that you have only 1(one) license of V-Ray for Sketchup and we can see in our database, that is is engaged and is use
      by the machine called "DESK***" with ip address 192.168.*.*
      Please confirm if you are able to use V-Ray on this machine, and if you still have any issues?
      If you are trying to use the license on another machine, you will need to close it on this machine, before trying to use it on the second machine.
