Hi! I'm guessing if it is possible to duplicate vray proxies but in a way, that for each one can be applied unique materials? For example, using vray mesh exporter I've imported from 3ds max a model of iPhone, I've applied multi-material to my proxy and everything looks fine. But now I want to duplicate Iphone's proxies and assign to each one its own material. So how can I do it? Look my picture to see what I'm looking for to do.

Found a way to do it. Probably this is the fastest. 1. I’m just duplicating proxies in Vray tab. 2. take duplicated proxy from sketchup component tab. 3. load and assign multi material to it. And everything is fine. But by the way don’t you know why the scale of the model needs to be fixed to real each time when I import converted vrmesh proxy? Both sketchup and 3ds max have mm as system units. If I import vrscene with sketchup import menu the scale is proper. So is there a problem with Vray import proxy?2 Photos

Found the same topic about scaling problems https://forums.chaosgroup.com/forum/...-scale-problem The solution is to set in 3ds max system units as inches and to rescale the file object to the system unit scale when open mesh in 3ds max.Last edited by summerson1990; 07-11-2019, 01:40 AM.
