Currently, if the Vrscene file is dragged in SketchUp Viewport, the vrscene is imported as a SketchUp model. Usually the vrscene files contain high-poly geometries that slowdown SketchUp and increase the file size, so dragging the vrscene in Sketchup Viewport and keeping it as a vrscene link (as default option) will give a smoother workflow in most cases.
