  • How to add a Mixcruve to a fall off map in Vray 5 for Sketchup?

Is it possible to replicate the slate editor workflow in 3ds max wherein we add a mixcurve to falloff maps in sketchup?

What's the best way to create curtain,& fabric materials with Vray 5 for sketchup?

    Hi,

You'll have to do the following:
    1. Create a Mix (Map) texture in the desired slot
    2. Add the textures or colors you want to blend in the mix slots
    3. Add a Spline or Bezier Curve in the Mix Map slot
    4. Add a Falloff in the Curve / Input
    5. Use the curve to remap the falloff values

I guess we should look into ways to simplify this workflow in the future.

    Regards,
    Konstantin

Yes the slate editor for Vray 5 for Sketchup will help us a ton!

It's a very complex process with the present UI for complex materials.
