I download a ton of models which are always native to 3DS Max. I'd love to be able to export the models as proxy scenes out of 3DS Max and place those scenes inside of Sketchup (I have Vray for 3DS and Sketchup). Can that be done? If so, what's the workflow for doing it?

Hi wil_schroter,
Yes, you should be able to save and open .vrscenes from one app to another. There is a very detailed blog post on the matter: https://www.chaosgroup.com/blog/how-...n-applications
Additionally, to import the scene in your SketchUp model, you can use the Import Proxy or V-Ray Scene option (access via the icon on the V-Ray toolbar or if you go to Extensions > V-Ray Objects > Import Proxy or V-Ray Scene): https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...UP/Proxy+Scene
Should you encounter any issues, do not hesitate to lest us know so we can troubleshoot.Nikoleta Garkova | chaos.com
