When using a spotlight, I always thought it was weird that reducing the cone angle moves the light away from where you have placed the light component (light source). Changing a light's cone angle shouldn't affect where the light is emitting from, no?

Hi ValeroStudio,
It's normal, since reducing the cone angle will move that cone and the light beam itself farther from the wall. If you do an experiment with a Spot Light with a small Cone Angle value, placed right to next to the wall, you should get the expected behavior - see recording: http://ftp.chaosgroup.com/support/sc...1_20-48-10.mp4 It depends on how you've placed your component in the first place.
To have even more control, you can play with the Penumbra Angle option as well; for further read, please visit https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...mple:ConeAngle
