  • M1 Mac Pro Benchmarks

Has anyone been able to get a benchmark uploaded on the m1 Mac Pro or Pro Max? Looks like the ones on the site currently still went through Rosetta.
    Thanks!

Yes, the benchmark is currently still using rosetta. I don't know when it will be updated.
However, if you what to compare the performance between native and non-native you can still do it. You will need the following: SketchUp 2022, V-Ray for SU 5 update 2.3, and an M1 machine.
Open a model and render it - this will give you the native performance.
For a non-native performance before you open SU right click on the SU icon and select Get Info. Check the "Open using Rosetta" checkbox. This will force SU and V-Ray to run in emulated mode.
Open the same model and hit render - this will give the non-native performance.

Don't forget to switch it off after the test.
