  • Rectangle light visible in reflections

Hello, I have a scene with rectangle lights in a lighting system. Now, to be able to adjust the visibility of this lighting module, I switched the rectangle light to "invisible" (main reason is that even if I change the color of the rectangle light to a warm light color, the rectangle light itself stays on a bright white - which is not looking "real"). I try to simulate the effect by adding an emissive material to the geometry behind the rectangle light.

Now in my architectural model there's a mirror showing the lighting system in its reflection, and here, there's still a bright shining rectangle light visible - although it has been set to invisible. Can I do anything about that? If I deactivate the "affect reflection", this changes the whole lighting in the scene....

    Thanks for helping me out!

    Hello Oliver,

You need to disable the "Affect Specular" and "Affect Reflections" checkboxes of the Light so that it won't be visible in the Reflections. Let me know if you have any questions.

    Kind regards,
    Iva
