Choose "view-face style-monocrome" from sketchup top menu, if the emissive surface is grey - not white, right click on the surface from inside of the group and choose reverse face..

If the object is a cosmos asset, there is a discussion about it..

Hey guys, we upgraded to Vray 6, but when we apply the emissive materials from cosmos, they are not emissive, and there is no intensity slider. I also attached the old version (we had it in an older file). Can you check it out?

                Hi katarina_lorincova,

Looking at the image you've posted initially, it looks like the Emissive material is working, but it's just not powerful enough.
You should try increasing the Intensity value to something at least 20-30 times bigger.
Note that the slider might go only to 10 initially but once you input a bigger value it'll readjust its range.

All Cosmos material use a built-in Self-illumination layer in the VRay Mtl instead of the standard Emissive shader available in SketchUp.
We have plans to improve this by officially exposing this layer and adding an Intensity slider to it.
We haven't done so already because there was one very specific technical challenge with the intensity which should be soon resolved.
