Can you use Swarm with a machine that’s logged in to another Chaos account or do both machines need to logged into the same accoun? I assume if it needs to be the same, that account would need a render node purchased in order to work? A standard VRay license doesn’t come with any nodes, correct?

Yes you can, it doesn't matter with what account you are logged in as long as it has a render node license on it. The standard V-Ray license package contains 1x Interface and 1x Render node license.

      Hello,

Yes, you can be logged into 2 different license servers if each machine has a local installation of the license server. V-Ray workstation license comes with a GUI and a render node but they are both taken from the machine that renders locally, if you want to add an additional machine to that you will need an additional render node. Which as you mentioned above can be added to a separate account.

I hope this helps. In case any further assistance with the setup is needed please open a ticket with us here: https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Thank you. There was an installation issue on a Win 11 machine that I worked with a Chaos tech. Thanks!
