V-Ray 7 slow delete items and many undo "update V-Ray Material"

If I delete an element in SketchUp without having V-Ray running, I don’t encounter any issues.
However, if V-Ray is open, it takes a long time to delete the element, and if I undo the action, I have to go through numerous other steps (like "update V-Ray Material") before I can finally undo the delete operation completely.

I’ve already contacted Chaos support, but they told me they haven’t encountered anything like this and asked me to share the scene. However, this happens to me with all my projects and on both of my workstations.
Is anyone else experiencing this?

Thank you marco_mascher for the report. I would like to share that thanks to the scene you have sent our developers were able to identify the issue. It is logged internally as SK-5211 and we will notify you once the fix is available.

This problem has been resolved in a hotfix we released today.
