  • Saving an animation?

    Hello,

I'm a new vray user but long time 3D guy (max, viz, autocad, archicad, finalrender). I am very interested in vray for sketchup as it is a great tool for time limited renderings. My question is, how to I save my animation as an avi? I click on "Render Output" and save file then select a location but avi or any video format is not listed. I really do not want to rendering seperate image files and merge them together in a video editing software. I'm sure there is a way to do this. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

    Cheers!

Unfortunately the we don't support any video formats, so for animations all we can really save out is sequences. Sorry.

I know this is an old post but i have just gotten into animations and i wanted to know how to do a sequence so i can compile the video in something like premiere.
I've been successfully doing animations in sketchup and successfully doing still images with vray for sketchup but i don't know how to even start a vray sequence.
      thanks for your help
