  • Rendering on Parallel Projection

has anybody tries rendering on a parallel project? e.g. Front view, Left etc... I'm not very sure how to resolve this problem 'cause every time I render on a parallel view it always comes out differently on the rendered version.. please help... does it involve with how the camera setting is adjusted ???

    Re: Rendering on Parallel Projection

The best way to get those parallel views is to fake it by using a camera with a very long focal length (or very narrow field of view).

So that means paralle views are not supported in vray? well I guess trying to adjust the camera focal length should do the trick, Thanks dalomar...

        Re: Rendering on Parallel Projection

With the physical camera no. With the standard camera, they do work. In my book, if you're using the physical camera, its easier to change a lens length/feild of view then the whole illumination of the scene

          Re: Rendering on Parallel Projection

So when you turn the Physical camera off, what do you set the default camera to?

Standard? I can seem to find one that works. If I fake in SU with I can only get FOV to 1deg. That doesn't work. I want true elevations.

          update:

OK, so I see that the rendering is there, what looked white has an image in it if I do heavy exposure adjustment of the rendering. Interestingly I see that I can slide the slider off the chart (beyond the Color Corrections box), and if I let go of the mouse I can't then reel it back in. Anyway to easily reset the color corrections?
