      We found out it might be the materials thats causing the problems so i've sent my materials to dalomar.

          One thing that does strike me about this is that your actual model looks like it is very, very big, huge expanse of textured water, and some 'downtown' area modelled. With those quite detailed textures, I wonder if vray isn't just falling over.

          I would try (on a copy of your model) deleting some large areas of the model, say cutting it down to three or four buildings, and try rendering that.

          One other thing to check, if you have imported it from a cad program, such as Autocad, is the geometry of the buildings, and look to see if you have any co-planar faces (vray doesn't like these)
