I've sorted my problem. For some reason the new settings treated the emmissive layer I had on reflection billboards differently, and it was flooding the model with light. I had to reduce the emmissive level from 1,000's down to 10.
I will test this out on other models, and forward details to the support page.

Good to hear it was a relatively simple problem. Since we've added photometric units its possible that some of the translation within emissive layers was changed/adjusted. I'm not sure why it would have been, but it sure is a possibility. Please forward that to the support page just to make sure we have it in the system.

THE PARAMETERS ARE INCORRECT!!!!!

Still getting this error message which completely locks you out from doing anything....can't even save. Until this is resolved, there is no reason to use the new version. Going back to the original version and dealing with the work arounds. I will send this error report as you guys want them sent...just thought I'd put it here as well.

I was getting the same errors with our internal builds. The cause of the issue was a bug within Sketchup. Please download a newer version of SketchUp as that will solve the issue. This is very important, so please update as soon as possible.

The material settings don't hold when re-opening a file.

I'll fill in a bug report for it.
Otherwise, a very decent release.
Material system is very very good. The autolinking also works really good.

I'm running SketchUp version 6.4.112. Is this not the latest version? If it is, then I got the Incorrect Parameters error with this version. I can't find a place on their website to just download the latest release or to check which is the latest release.

Upgrading to that version solved the issue for me. I believe that that is the most recent version. Have you been running into this issue when working from new files or files with existing materials?
