  • Night render and moon shadows

    Hi

I'm trying to create a simple night render.

I have set the GI Skylight to ACOLOR dark blue, multiplier 5.
And the background also to ACOLOR dark blue multiplier 1.

It looks ok, but I would like some sharp moon shadows. Does anyone know how to achive that ?

I'm I using a wrong method when I use ACOLOR ? could the same be done by using sky ? or do I have to use a V-Ray light ?

    Thanks

Re: Night render and moon shadows

What version of V-Ray are you using? With the Service Release you should be able to not have a Sky map in the Enviroment slot but still get SU sun shadows if you tick Default Light in Global Switches.

And have you tried setting the SU to a night time? Or reducing the multiplier of the SU sun?
Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.
