Hey all,
We have an interesting study in uni at the moment. Basically, we've to do a light study on a previous project. Now, where most people are focusing on daylight, i've decided to do a little bit on night lighting too. So, for this, i'd like to do a night scene.
I've been looking at other peoples posts about how to do it, and i'm totally lost. I'm a bit of a novice with vray. Could someone PLEASE give me some help?
The way i'd like to have it set up, is to have it as a fairly dark, ambient scene; dark enough that you can make out the buildings and features etc, but i do intend to have lighting coming from both inside the buildings and street level lighting too.
I know how to do lights (emissive layers etc) but it's actually setting up the options in vray that i'm struggling with. I tried downloading the visopt file that was recommended in another topic, but i get a Load failed type error when i try to use them.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
