  • in a surface opaque, can light passes through?

can i make an vray material that allows a surface to be opaque , and at the same time light passes through

    thanks, excuse my english

It sounds like you're looking for different surface properties for the camera/light. At that moment this is not available in VfSU, but it is a feature that we're adding within the new version. In the new version there actually will be two ways of doing this. The first (and probably the best) will be through per object properties and the second through the V-Ray Override material which allows separate materials for the regular surface and GI.
