Materials appear black

Why when i import a material (downloaded from the official asgvis download area) into sketchup does it appear black both in the material editor and sketchup itself?? ???

it is a bug, you have to relink the textures.

Apologies for my ignorance, I am relatively inexperienced with vray. How do I re-link the textures?

Just click on the "m" near the diffuse color and then select TexBitmap as your texture mapping type and find the textures on your hard drive.
