  • HDRI

    Hi all.

I have just downloaded a few HDR images from Aversis. They only provide one, large copy of the image. I was wondering if there are any tricks to keep in mind when making a smaller copy of the image for illumination purposes.

Also, their images are provided in 'Mirror Ball' format. Any issues with using these?

    Re: HDRI

there is a link in the forum (i don't know where it is) but its an hdri for illumination only, that means a smaller file.

Mirror ball has no issues because there is an option for mirror ball formats, or 360images, cubic etc

      Thanks Artu.

I searched the forum before posted my query but could not find anything that tells you how to actually resample the HDRi size for use as an illumination file. You can't remember the forum link can you?
