Hi all,
I've got a question (apologizing in advance if the topic was discussed before. I couldn't find it in the search)
I'm trying an outdoor render with trees. To keep the sketchUP file small, I'm using 2D trees. I've made the trees nicely having their own shadow, instead of a square from the original picture.
My problem:
SketchUP itself understands the fact that an 'always facing camera tree - shadow' should be as if the tree is facing the sun. If I render with V-ray, the shadow is according the position of the tree in relation to the sun (got it?) In the case the sun is positioned on the left or right. This results in a really thin line for shadow, as the V-ray sun sees it only as a flat object.
Is there a solution for this? Or only to have the sun in your back or right in front of you while making the render?
Thanks in advance.
