hi all some general questions :

    1) where could i get, exept the asgvis website some more vismat files ?
    2) if i create a simple glass which reflects light, how can i make the reflectance less white in some areas?
    3) sometime, when i create a background(importing an image to create a window background for instance), the whole scene render except the image. could anyone help ?
    4) when applying new materials, i ussually paint with sketchup's own color, give it a name which i recognize, and then go to vray materials panel and play with it, is there a better way ? i think im going around something more easy

    thanks
    (:

    Re: few quetions

Try website for Luz Indirecta (http://luzindirecta.luxisessentia.com) for vismat files and a Sketchup plug-in called BMVB to assist with background images.

For materials, go into the VfSU materials drop down and import new materials (right click on Scene Materials and click Load Materials).

Sorry can't help with reflective glass question.

oh for that you have to use an specular map my friend, for the reflective material. if not a map, maybe you could try with some noise for example
