  • CREATING EXTERIOR MATERIAL

Hi guys. I'm working in an exterior scene, and i seriously need to create a material like the one of the picture.
i just downloaded a great set of maps, but they're so many that i do not know where to apply them.
could you guys please help me create this material?, at least help me so i know where to put each map
i leave here the download link to the maps.
Fernando, you're the man, hehehe, i know you can :P

        Hi Omar
Here is the material, I use displacement to deform the geometry, but for fast rendering you could use bump. You don't need all of the mapping, just three of them.

              Re: CREATING EXTERIOR MATERIAL

Omar i will be keen to see how you map the texture onto chair,

I made a similar material recently.. and although it look fairly convining, it wasnt what i wanted.

If you could post some close ups that would be great

              thanks

                Re: CREATING EXTERIOR MATERIAL

I found a Rattan chair modeled by Tiago and I think that the mapping is pretty nice.

Another possibility in the "3d warehouse" is "Dedon Outdoor Furniture"
