  • Problem with lines

    Hey all...

I have this problem, when I render something for example a fridge, where you are supposed to see the lines of the doors, when i render the lines obviously dissapear, what can i do to show those lines in the final render? The thing is that in the rendered image you can´t see the fridge doors because the lines have dissapeared...

Hope I was clear enough for you to help me....

    Thanks...

Check ambient occlusion under Indirect Illumination.

Is the door indicated only by edges? In that case you'll not see them whatever you do. V-Ray doesn't render edges. I need to actually model a groove for the door opening.
Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.

        Hey Bob,

You could export a black & white sketchup image and overlay it onto your render in Photoshop.

I would use a nicely detailed 3D model from the net. Like this one...

Well seems like I don´t know how to insert a picture here or must be the firewall (I´m at work hehe), I've seen many models where edges are shown in the rendered image, so what can I do??? By the way I´ve never used Photoshop...

            Thank you all...
