2sided material

I can't get the 2 sided material to work... I'm frustrated... I watched and read some tutorials, but there is no translucency in the material, the light goes through, but the material renders dark grey.
what am I doing wrong? do I need to adjust the basic material? I tried the 2sided material on just the front side, both sides... nothing. the setting for the material is front and back the same color (basic SU color E05, light yellow, with a reflection layer (fresnel)), force 1side is on.

please help...

We have two similar material that involve sub-material. One is "Skp 2 sided" and the other is "Two sided". The material to be use for create translucency effect is "Two Sided". Please verify that you are using this material (two sided). The correct material should have a color picker, the multiplier and the "Force One-Sided" option. If you are using the correct material, please send me the scene to look at it and give you a precise answer.
