Hi marvsweden,
Yes, the "rectangle light" emits only in one direction, but on settings of "Light Editor" has the possibility to choose "double sided" option.

Thank you for your reply. I know there how to set it to double sided. I'm trying to understand how to set the direction. If you study the image you can see how the light falls more to the left. Why is that?3D Artist

Very strange indeed, because if the problem have been origin in the "Rectangle light", the both would do to the same side, i.e. how they are with "backs" one against to the other, should have one for the left and one to the right!Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 975 Extreme Edit. 3.33GHz / 6.4GT/s 8Mb box / Motherboard Gigabyte GA-EX58-UDS / Asus GForce GTX275HDMI 896DD3 (12Gb) / Windows 7- 64bit / Sketchup 2013 / V-Ray

Thank you for your replies. Sorry I havn't had the time to reply until now.
Apparently the problem had to do with the material on the back wall. I did some investigation and it all came down to whether I applied a bump or not to the material.
This is what it looks like with no bump.
..and when I apply a standard bump, no map, just checking the bump-box with the standard 1,0 value, this is what happens
Can anyone explain that to me? Is that normal behavior?
