  • CPU vs GPU vs Both

I rendered the same scene in all three configurations with the following results:

    CPU: 42 seconds
    GPU: 1:25 seconds
CPU+GPU: 3:35 and then hangs while displaying "Number of rays per pixel changed to 64, total number of samples is zero"

Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong?

    CPU: Intel Xeon E5-2670 @2.60GB (2 processors)
    GPU: Nvidia GTX 1070

    This is not expected.
Usually this is casued when comparing irradiance map vs brute force, different noise level settings, or different settings in general.
It will be best if you can send the scene to support@chaosgroup.com for investigation.

But is normal to have a bigger time when using cpu+gpu than by using cpu alone?
