    We already added Proxy to V-Ray for Rhino. So I guess we could do the same with V-Ray for Sketchup. I really don't know how hard is the developing process on V-Ray for SU, but it's usually harder than Rhino, because all the Sketchup limitation. We always have to create our own stuff in top of Sketchup. But I agree with you guys, proxy will be awesome in V-Ray for SU.

          Well if it helps, just look at how other renderers have done to achieve the possibility of proxy render in their plugins and then study their system . I have tried some, such as ReplaceMe on Shaderlight and also proxy in Maxwell Render. Hope it helps.
