  • Render Resolution?

When ever you setup a render resolution inside the VraySettings (example 640*480) it does not match the render resolution from the VrayFrameBuffer.
I still couldn't figure out how to resolve this issue and how to let Urneal & Vray know to use for example a maximum resolution from 640x480 when starting the render engine.

All I can see so far, are the VrayRender Settings, in which I set the resolution to 640x480.
However.. when I click render, my resolution bumps up to 1400xxxxx pixels... I don't know from where this resolution is coming from.

    Can you please clarify?

    thanks

    Hi, Bernhard

Are you by any chance have Enable Viewport Rendering enabled? This is enabled by default and you open the VFB the resolution that it is getting is the active resolution of the UE viewport which overrides the one set in the V-Ray Settings. When you disable that setting the VFB resolution is set from the V-Ray Settings. Tell me if this solves your issue.

    Best regards,
    Alexander
