    How do you handle dynamic shadows when you bake with Vray?


    Example:
    Cube--> Rotating
    Lightsource: 1xDirectLight

    If you bake with Vray, the Shadow is baked as well.
    If you play the level with the baked version you have the baked shadow inside the Lightmap and on top of it, you get the dynamic shadow that will not match with the baked shadow, because of the animation.

    Do you have any guide we can follow to set this up correct?

    Hi Bernhard

    Currently V-Ray doesn't take lights mobility into account and will bake all shadows. In future version that may be possible but not for the moment. As a workaround I suggest you try to disable Cast Shadows for the lights you want to be movable and bake. After the bake enable the Cast Shadows for the movable lights. Tell me how it goes.
