GPU Light Cache Preview

Doesn't the light cache create a preview like in bucket mode?

The show calc. phase is checked and grayed out. I don't see the calc. phase when I render.

It does when you are rendering locally. DR on the other hand uses out-of-process rendering which doesn't show the LC calculation.

It's not working because of some internal technical reasons. It will be fixed someday.

It is a huge inconvenience. Isn't it pretty high on the list of bugs to be fixed?

I guess I can start it without DR, let the LC calc and then turn DR back on.

No. We switched it off long time ago and barely no one complained since then.

Makes me wonder how many people are using it then. It provides a quick preview that I usually stop, tweak, and hit render again. This can happen dozens of times before I let the render proceed.

I also lose my effectResults. It just turns black, so I don't see it until the end.
