RTX 2080 Ti Not Showing up

A brief history -

We purchased a new Boxx Computer with the RTX 2080 Ti Card in February

I have not used GPU very much but started to play with it on an existing scene the other day and found my machine locked up after a few minutes of processing . I would have to do a Hard Reboot to restart it. Tried various other scenes and even a new scene - all would lock up.

Boxx sent me a new RTX card to replace the existing.

After installing the new card - The RTX Card no longer shows up in the device list under the V-ray GPU Render Devices list on the Perf Tab.

I've installed the latest NVIDIA Drivers and updated to the Vray Next 2.1

I've also attached a screen grab of the Render Setup showing just the CPU and not the RTX card - which showed up with the previous card

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Just to follow up from my previous post - I reinstalled my old RTX card and it was listed in the GPU Render Devices -

I now wonder if I received a second, bad RTX card.

The plot thickens!

Update #2 -

I spoke with Boxx and they had me move the new RTX card from the original slot to one of the other slots. The RTX Card showed up once I moved it and I was able to process the rendering without any problems

Now I have to wonder if the problem is with that slot and not the card as was first suspected.

I'll update as I find out more
