Doe's it mean that this driver is ok for older V-Ray versions too? I ask this because VfR isn't released so often and I afraid diver and V-Ray version needs to match or not?

Hmmm... IDK. On the top of the Chaos GPU page has the recommended driver listed.

Right, but doe's this driver works for any V-Ray version? One plugin version is released day 1 an other day 10 and the next day 40. During this time the recommended driver number is changing. Doe's all V-Ray version works with the latest recommended driver or doe's driver and V-Ray version need each other?

Should be valid for all latest V-Ray versions per product. If you experience problems with the suggested driver, please report.
If it was that easy, it would have already been done

Unfortunately, Nvidia driver 436.30 does not work for Nvidia AI denoising. Please see attached Vray progress window snapshot. Also tried the latest Nvidia driver version 441.12 without success. Tried all older drivers upto 421.02. Nvidia AI works on none.

Currently using Vray Next for Rhino 5 4.10.01, release Sep 24 2019
              Windows 7 64-bit.
              Nvidia Quadro K4200

The graphics card is detected in the Asset editor.

              Please help!

b.maio_SGA Here at Rhino 6 / Win10 / driver 436.30 / GTXx080ti the denoiser works. Maybe the card is the problem.

Doubt its a hardware problem. Its CUDA supported. Worked fine for me in the earlier Vray for Rhino update 1 version.

                    Hello,

Unfortunately this is a hardware requirement of the newer NVidia AI Denoiser - it requires Maxwell or newer GPU architectures. (https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...noisingEngines)

                    Best regards,
                    Yavor

                      Hi Yavor,

Thanks for the notification. I guess my card just got obsolete for the new Vray. Very disappointed. I guess, I can do without the new Denoiser for now.

                      Good day

The V-Ray denoiser is still compatible.
