Oww damn! Huge difference, I wonder how does it compare to 2990wx. Btw did you have to update your V-Ray or simply updating nvidia driver did the trick?

Ive been working with Vray Next GPU for a bit now and here are my results with the RTX - My system is an i9 14 core OC to 4.5ghz - Titan RTX and a 1080ti -

With Hybrid Rendering on GPU, for a decently complex scene, I was rendering it at 2 min and 48 seconds. When I switch it to RTX and pure GPU, it rendered it in 2 min and 58 seconds.. So a 10 second difference. This is still killer because even though its slower, the CPU added would usually decrease render times by a much larger margin. I now need to test CUDA GPU only vs RTX GPU only.

You have to install the latest nightly build.

Is the CPU render running with V-Ray Adv or is it running in CUDA (Hybrid) mode?

Thanks, I hope the one for Maya is already available.

Sweet, thanks for responding! Would it perhaps be possible to see a screenshot of the scene?
