Can I selelct a camera to render a sequence

So basically I select a camera, press play but it switches back to the camera that was last active when I exported the scene. Am I doing something wrong?

I guess you mean in Vantage?
If you only have one camera in the exported scene then it'll just use that one.
If you have more than one then you need to double click which one you want to view.

Sorry, I thought I posted in Vantage...yes, that's what I mean. So I double click to select some other camera but when I click play it switches to the last camera that was selected in MAX when I exported the scene.

Sorry I gave the wrong info. If you switch to the anim frame range view (clapperboard), in the bottom green area simply right click and choose active camera.
It's a bit clunky
