    Hi Muhhamed and Vray gpu team


    Since right now with 5.2.5 vray gpu production render use gpu to calculate light cache but in interactive render is the same that always brute force + brute force, but when are we going to see this... Vray gpu interactive render brute force+ light cache calculated with gpu.

    It is a Big discrepancy how Vray gpu works in production and in interactive render... Is more than 6 months since the release of vray gpu 5.2, i know this is hard work but is taking so much time... Are we going to see this improvement in vray 5 soon???, or do You think is going to come later???

    How things are going on this subject???
    I Believe with this new method brute force+ light cache on vray gpu interactive render is going to help us for a better achieve of materials, lights and architectural composition.

    This is part of our current planning, we will get there eventually, and for your knowledge Maya didn't get this yet. GPU LC works only in 3Ds Max IPR
    GPU LC is progressing nicely, we have a developer working on improving interactivity and undersampling at the moment. I cannot promise when exactly it will come to SketchUp plugin, we have other big features coming up like Texture compression that will reduce memory usage massively and a new GPU Device manager.
    I can also say that V-Ray for SketchUp is one of our highest priority plugins in our planning. This is a fact

    Yeah, during this time GPU LC progressed massively on speed and memory usage.. and more improvements to come

    I agree, it is the way going forward with V-Ray GPU interactive + AI denoiser
    I'm aware of how important interactive rendering is to users, I think it is the number one reason people use GPUs to render in first place. More iterations means more productivity and better results.
    If you have questions let me know, I have done research on interactivity topic recently, we have some ideas and solutions. I will message here once there is something to test
