  • no textures are getting motion blur, only the mesh?

Vray next gpu. I made a big plane, to make an ocean. I only used only bump mapping and diffuse because it will have a pretty big motion blur and it will render alot faster than displacement (which since i installed the latest phoenix fd, is giving me errors and doesnt work). I noticed that only the geometry gets motion blur, and none of the textures. So if i have a checker map on a huge plane that fills the screen, it looks like the ocean has 0 motion blur. Is this a feature or a bug? (i have a super urgent project i have to wrap up tonight, and when i saw this i got literally sick and i have no idea what to do now) Thank you

sometimes it seems to work, sometimes it doesnt. That is so weird. If i change frame number, or some other things, motion blur doesnt seem to update in ipr

Motion blur requires IPR restart to show the effect if you change something while the render is running.

About the texture not being motion blurred, can you send me a scene?
If it was that easy, it would have already been done

Thanks for the reply Peter. I will try to make some time to investigate the issue and prep a simplified scene because i can't send this one. I eventually found a way to make it work, but i noticed that i had to do some specific steps, something like stopping ipr, jumping a few frames back and forth, and starting ipr again. Btw, would really need caustics and phoenixfd particle shaders for gpu.
