vraylight directionality, square artifacts

When I use directionality on a plane light and reach 0.65, there are square artifacts near the openings. Take a look at the attached file. (bucket rendering)

Does it go away if you switch the lights evaluation method to "Light tree"?

yes, but it was slower and renders slightly different.
