Opacity mapped objects reflect as fully opaque.

  • Opacity mapped objects reflect as fully opaque.

    Please check the screenshots below. It's as if opacity doesn't affect reflections properly in Vray GPU. Am I missing some setting? Can I make it render like the CPU renderer?

      Thanks, fixeighted . I managed to fix it. I had to recreate the material from scratch and it is working as expected now. This is a model I purchased and the scene was made with Corona renderer. I used Vray's scene converter to convert all materials to native Vray ones. Probably something got messed up during the conversion process.

          Interesting...it looks like a bug.
          The fog colour of the label material was set to a mid gray, so though fog was set to none,
          CPU correctly ignored it but GPU didn't.

            Yes, currently, fog color and opacity don't work so well. We have the issue logged (internal bug-tracker id: VMAX-10988 ).
