RTX 4090 is very slow in rendering

So are we still dealing with this slow GPU rendering issue? Just picked up a PNY 4090 and in 2 systems it is not much better than what we had to start with.

Compared to a system that had an RTX 6000 very little improvement

Also, a system that has a 3090TI and 3080 same situation. Being a system with dual cards I did not expect it to be a huge improvement.

Both are on Vray for Maya latest studio driver any info would be great to see what this card can really do.

Just to make sure, have you went through this guide (https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/a...g-in-V-Ray-GPU) already?

It only applies for the IR / IPR however. Is production rendering also not performing any better for you?
