  • Clouds / Sky not renderring in GPU

    Hi
I may have a setting incorerect.
The sky and clouds are not coming up in either CPU or GPU,
    Max 2023, Vray 6 (10.04) RTX 4090.
I have changed nothing from previous work flow, so thought it might be a bug.

    Thank you

    phil

Clouds are working both in V-Ray CPU and V-Ray GPU on my setup, using 3ds Max 2023.3 and V-Ray 61004
Here is the documentation about clouds - https://docs.chaos.com/display/VMAX/...VRaySun-Clouds
Basically you just need to create a VRaySun and enable Clouds and they appear right away.

          Thank you.
I am using the day light set up as it is for archg viz, and photomontage work.
I have to set the sun to the correct North Direction, and then the location and time, and when I set the sky it does not work all the time. Odd, i know.
Thank you for the reply Vladimir. Have a good day.

          Phil
