Hi. The "emit light on back side" feature of VRayLightMtl doesn't work in V-Ray 6 Update 1.2. I tested both RTX and CUDA. The help docs say it should be supported. Is this a bug or are the help docs wrong? I've plugged the VRayLightMtl into a Double Sided material as a workaround.

Hello,
"Emit light on back side" indeed is not supported with GPU yet, we have it logged for improvement (internal tracking number:VGPU-718 ).Thank you for the report and apologies for the inconvenience! We will check the doc pages and bring them up-to-date in that regard.

Hey, trainofthought. You should be able to work around this problem by putting the VrayLightMtl into the "Front material" slot of a Vray2sidedMtl and setting the Translucency color to black. Then apply this 2sided material to the object. I think this is how I made it work with GPU when I found this problem.Max 2023.2.2 + Vray 6 Update 2.1 ( 6.20.06 )
