Is it safe to say my scene is too large for my available VRAM? Why does GPU render use so much memory (regular RAM)? When I render with the CPU it only uses 1/4 of my memory.

I'm able to reproduce this on my side, with the scene you sent me
This is not expected to happen, this seems to be about your setup with Forest Pack
We will investigate and get back to you
On another note, the warning in the log is about running out of GPU memory, it affects rendering performance considerably
I have some tips in this thread regarding optimizations
in short, if you swap engine to CUDA and use Use System Memory for Textures option this warning will disappear
Best,

It is probably PSD Manager masking out all of my layers. Other than that, I don't have too many elements, at least nothing that seems too many.Bobby Parker
