Hi all!
I've been experiencing difficulties with render efficiency and constant warning/error messages, and the Vray GPU render time is taking way more longer than expected. I would really appreciate any help for the error messages and faster gpu render since I am making animation.
Here are my pc specs:
My renders are 1920x1080 frames 24fps with the attached render set up, and each frame is now taking up to 30 minutes. The scene includes chaos scattered plants, one sun light, and a few noise modifier to simulate tree movement, which I thought wouldn't be too demanding?
I have attempted to adjust the render setting but sometimes the render would crash with warning [GPU light cache] Could not allocate buffer of size 1918MB! Error : [OOCRenderThread::launchKernel] 2: Kernel launch failed, this simply would not let me render anything. As a result I didn't figure anything out as the file just crashed when I modified my setting.
When it crashed I noticed my pc memory skyrocketed to nearly 100% but not sure why.
I have tried the vraybenchmark test for my gpu, and the score is 2296 with CUDA 556.12
Please help There is no way I would be able to render all the frames to make it in time if its taking that long
Thanks a lot
Eva
