Muhammed_Hamed I just tried the new studio driver that was released today and there is an improvement but it's not solved. The test scene I send you earlier now slows down around frame 40 instead of frame 10. So it definitely leaks less..

I have the same issue (see this thread for more details: https://forums.chaos.com/forum/v-ray...ssive-sampling).

64GB apparently is not enough to render a simple scene a few times in a row (without 3ds max restart). How can I fix this issue please?

Confirming studio driver 572.16 appears to be working correctly (with stills, I don't make animations). Releasing Vram shortly after rendering and I use the "system memory for texture" option. That seems to be using less as well, or not stacking/leaking like 566.14 did.
Based on same file for both drivers, 572.16 was installed then system restart. Significantly less Vram usage and holding right after render completed.

            Thanks for confirming!
I'm glad it works now, we are checking other scenes that were problematic on our side

Not yet, how will that help? Have you tested it internally?

Yes, it seems to be related to the driver issues

Did it resolve RAM issues in your internal tests? Sorry, updating drivers in our case is a hassle so want to double check it fixes the problem

Your sequence renders fine with maximum memory usage of 16 GB, we have been able to render the whole sequence on a Quardro 6000
We will try with some Geforce cards today

This might be related to Geforce cards, I hope we could reproduce on our end

                          Hey lars_snelders

On 2x 3090s we were able to render the full animation sequence without memory leaks. It seems the new driver fully solves this issue
Could you please try again on your machine, reinstall the driver 572, check clean install option, restart the machine then render
If you are still having issues we will try on 4090s on our side, then we will remote into your machine to take a look at your setup

                          Best,
                          Muhammed

Thanks for the update Muhammed_Hamed thats indeed looking good. I’m out of the office for a couple of days but will try to render the scene again next week and report back.
