  • VrayMtl Alpha channel not supported with GPU ?

    Hi,

When i use the GPU, the alpha channel of VrayMtl(a glass, for example) is not available at all.
When i use the CPU, the alpha channel is displayed correctly.

I have to mention that Affect channels for refraction is set to All channels already.

    Regards,
    Peter Istrate.

Affect Channels option is not supported with RT GPU.
However a solid alpha channel should be generated even for 100% refractive objects - if that is not the case please:

Send us the scene or a part of if for investigation and let us know which Vray version you are using.

      Hi Svetlozar,

Yes, a solid alpha channel is generated. But i need a transparent alpha for my transparent objects... which i suppose is not supported as you said.
      I'm using Vray 3.00.07

Yes - it is not supported so far.
We have it as as feature request into our system but it is not implemented yet.
