So here's an odd one. I have a scene in 3dsmax that contains a sphere, a vray camera and a dome vray light with a VrayHDRI map assigned to the texture slot. When I turn on the Activeshade in the viewport, I get image #1 below, which is totally wrong.

I close the activeshade viewport. Then when I change the renderer to "Active Shade Mode" in the Render Setup Floater and hit render, it render image #2 below in the vfb, which is the correct result.

Then I turn the active shade viewport back on, and now it renders correctly too (image 3)
.
Any idea what might be happening?
