  • RT CUDA erro - [VrayRTMax::renderThreadProc] Exception occured in rendering thread.

There's a scene where I use RT CUDA as Active Shade and I'm getting the error below every 10-15 min. When this happens the Stop render button doesn't work so the only thing that fixes it is to restart Max but 10-15 minutes later the error would appear again. The scene consists of a a Vray plane object, a physical camera, 2 dome lights with HDRI textures and a group of objects which is an Xref scene. This Xref scene consists of Xref objects and has Xref Materials applied to all objects.

Update: I got that error again in a completely different scene. What I was doing is I was editing a VrayBlendMtl and plugging maps in the slots of the Coat material.

    Hello,

When you get that crash - V-Ray will write a crash dump called VRay.dmp in the temp folder - could you send one such dump (and if possible - the scene).

    Best regards,

Ok, I'll do so next time it does this.
